  God wants non of His children to partake in the sinfulness of this world, but to come under His saving grace. The Bible says this at Ephesians 5:1-7: Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. 3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.   We are truly a blessed people. The Bible says in the book of Ephesians 2:8 that we are saved by grace through faith. Our being saved is a gift from God and is not by any of our own works.  God has granted us unmerited favor. He continues to bless us at all times. God sent His Son who shed blood on the cross for our sins, securing us with salvation and eternal life. The Son of God manifested himself on earth so that he might destroy the works of the devil. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. Jesus Christ walked this earth performing many miracles, healing the sick and curing many diseases. Jesus Christ is still performing miracles today through his followers. He has not changed.
