Hold On: Staying Faithful in Uncertain Times

In today’s world, it can sometimes feel overwhelming. There is so much happening around us. There is uncertainty, challenges, and moments that test our strength.   In times like these, it may feel difficult to stay grounded and faithful. But as believers, we are reminded that our hope is not in what we see, but in who we trust.  The Word of God encourages us to remain steady, even when life feels unsteady.  God is With You One of the most comforting promises in Scripture is that God is always with us. He does not walk away when things get difficult. Hebrews 13:5 says: I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. This is not a temporary promise. It is a permanent assurance. No matter what we face, we are not alone. The presence of God goes with us through every season.  Strength for the Journey There are days when we feel tired, discouraged, or unsure of what to do next. But God does not ask us to rely on our own strength. Isaiah 41:10 reminds u...

The Power of the Living Word

The Power of the Living Word  Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The implications of Hebrews 4:12 fills us with joyous anticipation. The verse assures us that the living Word of God has the ability to dissect and discern the thoughts and intents of our hearts.  It is a gentle reminder that we are known and loved by a benevolent Creator who sees us in our entirety. This revelation is incredibly liberating, as it encourages us to approach our Heavenly Father with openness and authenticity. Imagine the delight of knowing that every hidden motive and every secret longing is not only acknowledged but understood by the One who breathed life into us. In the presence of this all-knowing and loving God, we can find solace, forgiveness through His Son, Jesus Christ and a renewed s...

Put On the Whole Armour of God

Trying Times We live in very trying times. There is so much happening today all around the world. COVID-19 is still lurking around, killing thousands daily. The US government is in disarray and crime is on the rise. There seems to be no end to the terrible things happening in this world.  The Armour of God The Bible says at Ephesians 6:11-18   that during these times we are to put on the whole armour of God. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but of spiritual wicked powers. We cannot combat these powers by ourselves. We need the spiritual help of God. In the Bible at 2 Thessalonians 3:3, it says, " But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." We are to keep His entire armour on.  Not only are we living in trying times, we are living in what the Bible calls the last days. Second Timothy 3:1-5 describes our experiences during this time:  1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.  2 People...
