Fear is something we all experience at times. It can come suddenly or linger quietly in the background of our lives. But as believers, we are reminded that fear does not come from God . Instead, He calls us to walk in faith, strength, and peace. What the Bible Says About Fear The Bible makes it clear that fear is not part of the spirit God has given us. 2 Timothy 1:7 says: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. This verse reminds us that fear is not from God . He has given us power to stand, love to overcome, and a sound mind to remain steady. Isaiah 41:10 says : Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
