We are Truly a Blessed People

We are truly a blessed people. The Bible says in the book of Ephesians 2:8 that we are saved by grace through faith. Our being saved is a gift from God and is not by any of our own works.

God has granted us unmerited favor. He continues to bless us at all times. God sent His Son who shed blood on the cross for our sins, securing us with salvation and eternal life. The Son of God manifested himself on earth so that he might destroy the works of the devil.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

1 John 3:8.

Jesus Christ walked this earth performing many miracles, healing the sick and curing many diseases.

Jesus Christ is still performing miracles today through his followers. He has not changed.

Hebrews 13:8 says:

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever.

The disciples of Jesus went on to perform many healings and miracles before his ascension to the Heavenly Father.

Mark 6:7 says: And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two: and gave them power over unclean spirits.

In the Book of Mark 16, Jesus gives instructions to his disciples after he had risen.

Mark 16:15-20 says: And he said unto them,

15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen

If you are a follower of Jesus, pray for the healing and restoration of others as well as yourself. You have the power to do so through the sacrifice of Jesus Chris for your life. Receive your blessings that are already set before you.

In these unstable times of the world, it is crucial to stay close to God in prayer. Continue to life each other up and spread the Word of God. God bless you and your families.
