A Wake-Up Call: Few Will Enter the Kingdom of God

A Wake-Up Call: Few Will Enter the Kingdom of God

Recently, I had a dream that I believe holds a significant message not only for myself but for many others. I feel led to share this dream with you, as I believe it serves as a spiritual wake up call–a reminder of the urgency of walking in the truth and seeking the Kingdom of God.

In this dream, I found myself in a large classroom filled with 30 or more adults. The atmosphere was serious, almost as if everyone was waiting for something important to happen. At the front of the classroom, there was a door that led to a small, enclosed room. I stepped into that room, and with me was a man, though I couldn’t clearly identify who he was.

In my hand, I was holding four large wooden dowels. These dowels were about 12 inches long and colored similarly to chico sticks — bright and attention  - grabbing. I kept turning to the man beside me, telling him, “You tell them,” as if I was unsure of delivering the message myself. But each time, he replied, “No, you tell them.”

We went back and forth in this exchange, almost like a tug-of-war. Eventually, we left the small room and stepped back into the classroom, continuing this dialogue. It was a sad day, and I did not want to disappoint anyone, but the message had to be delivered.

Finally, I stood before the class, holding up the wooden dowels in my right hand, and said, “Out of all of y’all, only four of y’all are gonna make it.” The rest of the people in the classroom wouldn’t make it —they would not enter the Kingdom of God. Their fate was sealed. Only a small remnant of the people would be saved.

When I woke up, the dream weighed heavily on me. I began to pray and reflect on its meaning, wondering what the wooden dowels represented, why only four people would make it, and what God was trying to tell me through this vision. Here’s what I believe this dream reveals.

Interpreting the Symbols in the Dream

The classroom in the dream likely represents the world or a group of people seeking knowledge or truth. It is a setting of learning, but also of decision-making as we are all responsible for how we choose to live our lives and pursue God.

The small room could represent a space of confrontation-between divine truth and human hesitation. In this intimate setting, I was urged to deliver a difficult message, and I believe that the man in the room represents spiritual guidance or an aspect of myself wrestling with the responsibility to share God’s warning.

The wooden dowels stand out as significant symbols. They were large, bold, and I was holding them in my right hand—a hand often associated with power and authority in biblical context. The number “four” is what makes this dream even more thought-provoking. Out of all the people in the classroom, only four would be saved, while the rest were destined to miss the Kingdom of God. This represents a sobering reality: not everyone will heed the call to repentance, and the narrow path that leads to eternal life.

A Message of Urgency:
Few Will Make It

The message in the dream is clear: there is a warning that many are walking down a path that leads to destruction, and only a few will make it into God’s Kingdom. This isn’t meant to be a message of fear, but one of urgency. It serves as a call for us to examine our lives and ask ourselves whether we are truly living according to God’s will. Are we walking in the truth? Are we seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33)?

In today’s world, it’s easy to get distracted by the noise of everyday life. We get caught up in our jobs, relationships, and the pursuit of material success. But this dream is a reminder that we must not lose sight of what truly matters — our eternal destination. The dowels I held in the dream symbolized the few who are set apart, chosen to enter the Kingdom because they remained obedient, and repentant.

Matthew 7:13-14 says:

13 Jesus himself said, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

The dream echoes this truth – only a few will find the way, but God is calling all of us to seek Him wholeheartedly.

Sharing the Dream: A Call to Action

After much reflection, I believe this dream is not just for me, but for everyone who is willing to listen. It is a call to wake up and take our spiritual lives seriously. It is a call to repent, turn to God, and live with an eternal perspective. None of us know how much time we have left on this earth, but we do know that God is merciful and desires that all would come to Him.

If you feel convicted by this message, don’t ignore that feeling. Take time to pray, seek God and ask Him to show you the areas of your life where you may have strayed. Ask Him to give you the strength to walk the narrow path, even when it’s hard.

I believe that part of my calling is to share this message with as many people as possible – through writing, videos, podcasts, and more. This is why I felt led to share the dream here with you today. I urge you to take it to heart and consider what God may be saying to you through this dream.

Final Thoughts

This dream was a powerful reminder that while the Kingdom of God is open to all, only those who truly seek Him and live according to His will shall enter. The message is clear: the time is short, and we must not delay in turning our hearts fully to God. Don’t wait until it’s too late. The wooden dowels in my hand represented the few who will make it – let’s strive to be among them.

May this dream inspire you to seek God with all your heart and share His truth with others. Let us be the ones who hear His voice and follow Him, no matter the cost. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Luke 10:22). Will you answer the call?

Along with the article I’ve also recorded a full podcast episode where I dive even deeper into this dream and its meaning for our spiritual lives. If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to the podcast so you don’t miss any of the insights and discussions we’ll be having. It’s a great way to stay connected and reflect on this powerful message, wherever you are.

And for those who prefer visuals, I’ve created a video discussing the dream and how it relates to our walk of faith. Make sure to check them both out and share them with others who may need this wake-up call. Let’s continue seeking the Kingdom together.

The Power of Praise: How Psalm 147 Reminds Us of God’s Care

The Power of Praise: How Psalm 147 Reminds Us of God’s Care Life often brings uncertainty, pain, and struggles. In difficult times, it's easy to forget just how powerful and loving our God is. Psalm 147 is a beautiful reminder that God not only controls the universe but also cares deeply for His people. 1. God Heals the Brokenhearted One of the most comforting verses in Psalm 147 is verse 3: "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." No matter what trials we face—whether heartbreak, loss, or disappointment—God is always present to restore us. His love is greater than our pain, and His healing is perfect. 2. God’s Power Extends Over All Creation Verse 4 says: "He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names." This verse shows that God’s knowledge and power are limitless. If He cares enough to name every star, how much more does He care for us? 3. God Provides for All "He giveth to the beast his food, ...

America Wake Up!

America, Wake Up: Preparing for an Uncertain Future Major changes are happening in America, and if you haven’t been paying attention, now is the time to wake up. With the new administration in power, significant cuts are being made to essential programs such as food stamps, housing assistance, and medical aid. Millions of Americans who have relied on these services may soon find themselves without support, leaving many struggling to survive. The question is: are you ready for what’s coming? The System is Changing—Are You? For decades, many have depended on government assistance to make ends meet. However, as policies shift, these safety nets are shrinking. Qualifying for housing is becoming increasingly difficult, with landlords demanding high credit scores and income three times the rent. Healthcare costs continue to rise, and food assistance programs are being scaled back. The message is clear: relying on the system is no longer a safe bet. It’s time to take control of your fut...
