Be Still, and Know that I Am God

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. - Psalm 46:10.

The COVID-19 pandemic is in effect. COVID-19 is an illness caused by a coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. Check out the CDC website for more information on the virus.

If you are feeling any symptoms of a fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, sore throat, muscle pain and loss of taste or smell, you are asked to self quarantine yourself in your home for 14 days.

Also, there is a 6 foot per person distancing order in place. Masks are to be worn, covering the nose and mouth when out and about. They are also to be worn in the home if a family member has been diagnosed with COVIC-19 ( coronavirus) or is showing symptoms.

If you already have underlying medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease you are at a higher risk of developing serious complications of the COVID-19 virus. In certain high risk situations, like the ones mentioned above, you may have to be admitted into the hospital.

While the majority of the world is on halt, the president and the authority officials are trying to get a grip on the situation. Businesses and schools are closed. Church services are being conducted online. Lots of people are working at home, while millions of others have lost their jobs. It is advised to only go out for necessary things, like groceries or to the gas station.

Hospitals, ambulance workers, grocery store employees, mail services, and law enforcement are on the front lines working. So many people are losing their lives during this pandemic. I pray for the safety of these workers in these times for putting their lives on the line.

While all of this is happening, people are getting restless in their homes. The children want to go out to play. Families are eager to visit each-other.

In the Bible book of Psalm 45:10, the LORD says this:

Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Will you allow the LORD to speak with you? Only HE knows the directions for your life.

Honor and trust the LORD. Offer HIM praises. Put your complete focus on HIM.

When this is over, we will have plenty of time to visit our friends and family. Right now, for the sake of our survival, we must practice safely not only for our immediate friends and family, but for us all over the world. 🌎

Humility, Leadership, and Trust

Humility, Leadership, and Trust The book of 1 Peter offers valuable guidance and encouragement to the early Christian community. In Chapter 5, the apostle Peter focuses on the significance of humility, effective leadership, and trusting in God's care. Let us delve into this chapter and explore its timeless lessons for believers today.
