Unseen Protection and Divine Courage

Unseen Protection and Divine Courage

Key Verse: Acts 23:11 says:

The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, 'Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome. - NIV

Have you ever felt trapped in a situation where human solutions seemed completely blocked? In Acts 23, over forty men bound themselves under a curse to murder Paul. From a human standpoint, Paul was heavily outnumbered and locked away.

Yet, God is never caught off guard.

Before the plotters could execute their plan, God used a young, unnamed relative to uncover the secret and report it to the authorities. By nightfall, Paul was safely on his way to Caesarea, protected by hundreds which included soldiers, horsemen and spearmen! When God places a call on your life, He provides the protection needed to fulfill it. Trust His timing, rest in His care, and take courage. He is fighting for you behind the scenes.

The Blessings Keep Coming

The blessings keep coming. It started the day she tried on her wedding dress. I was there in support. Afterwards, the entire group decided to get a bite to eat. In my purse, I had seventy cents and on my card, I had three dollars plus some change. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were greeted and seated by the waitress. While checking out the menu, I wondered what I could order that would not be over the bit of money I had in my purse. I could play it safe by ordering a pop or coffee. Hmmm,... The waitress appeared as the group was discussing what they were going to order. Since they served breakfast, lunch and dinner, I asked for a side order of toast. The group suggested I get the french toast, which was waaay out of my budget. But, I said, OK and ordered it. All along, I had been praying in my head for the LORD to help me. When the food came, I prayed for the group, thanking God for our meal. We all enjoyed ourselves. They even tasted some of my french toast....

Your Delay Is Not Denial

Your Delay Is Not Denial Trusting God in the Waiting Season 📖 Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) – “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Have you ever felt like God was taking too long? You pray. You believe. You wait. And still… it feels like nothing is moving. It’s easy to get discouraged in seasons of delay — especially when others around you seem to be walking into their breakthroughs while you’re stuck wondering “When is it my turn?”  But the Word of God in Habakkuk 2:3 brings comfort and clarity: For the vision is yet for an appointed time... That means: God hasn’t forgotten. The promise, the vision, the direction — whatever He placed in your heart — is still alive. But it’s attached to a divine appointment. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t. 💭 What Is the “Vision”? In Habakkuk’s time, the vision referred to a revelation from Go...

Walking in Obedience: The Power of Deuteronomy 28

Walking in obedience: The Power of Deuteronomy 28 Deuteronomy 28 is one of the most powerful and sobering chapters in the Bible. Spoken by Moses to the people of Israel, this chapter lays out the terms of God's covenant with His people — blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience . The first 14 verses are filled with promises of abundance, protection, promotion, and favor. God promises to bless every area of life — from the city to the field, from our children to our work, from our coming in to our going out. The condition? Obedience. God’s blessings flow when we walk according to His Word. But starting in verse 15, the tone changes. God warns His people that if they do not listen, and if they turn away from His commandments, a long list of hardships will follow. These curses include defeat, confusion, loss, sickness, and oppression. The warnings are detailed and heavy, not to scare us — but to turn our hearts back toward God. Deuteronomy 28 is not just ancient histor...
